Charleston Area Group Runs

All runs take place every week unless otherwise noted. If no pace is indicated, then all are welcome. If it's your first time going to a particular run, it's not a bad idea to make contact with the coordinator to make sure the information here is still accurate.

The Foot Store has started a monthly run.

January : Charleston Area : 01/31/2015
Our January run takes us out to Sullivan’s Island for an early morning run and possibly some
breakfast - if everyone is game. Check out the view of the lighthouse, run past the old fort, and
cruise through the quiet downtown area that makes Sullivan’s such a cool place. Meet in the park
by the fire station. Run starts at 6:00 AM. Multiple distances can be run.


February : The Lowcountry : 02/28/2015
February takes us off road to Marrington Plantation and some of the best trails the Lowcountry
has to offer. Post run will be at one of the great Park Circle eateries based on group choice. Meet
in the gravel lot off Red Bank Road. Pass required to use the trails - easy to get one - contact
media@footstore.com for details. Run starts at 9:30 AM. 4, 9, and 13 mile routes.


March: The Lowcountry : 03/21/2015
February keeps us in the Lowcountry for a run on some nice smooth gravel roads in the Francis
Marion Forest. Not quite road and not quite trail, this is a fast but yet soft surface. Meet at the I’on
Swamp Interpretive Trail parking area. Any distances are can be run from this point. Run starts at
7:00 AM.

Sundays

9:00 AMOnShore Racing group run, Hampton Park, Charleston
Length: 8+ miles, all running paces welcome.
Join us after each run for brunch at MOES Crosstown Tavern.

6:30 PM - Fleet Feet Sports in Mount Pleasant.  Every Monday.  
Length: 3 mile and a 5 mile run option for all paces.

Aquarium Garage for  Aquarium loop (4.6 miles easy group run with intervals on the last mile)
OR
Hampton Park / Citadel (2 miles easy followed by 2-3 miles speed work)

Tuesdays

6:00 AM - Alhambra Hall in Old Mt. Pleasant - Tuesday morning wake up run. 

Length: 3-6 miles For all levels including walkers.

Wednesdays

6:00 PM - Lululemon Athletica in downtown Charleston
Length: 3 mile and a 5 mile run for all levels.   Note, this group run has been put on hold, returning in March.

6:30 PM - Pub Run with Fleet Feet Sports Mount Pleasant.  2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
Location: Varying around Charleston.  
Length: 3 mile and a 5 mile run option for all paces.

6:00 AM - The Foot Store, Mt. Pleasant - Meet out in front of the shop. Distance and pace will vary based on who wants to run what. Some great routes mapped out. If you are game, we have an excellent 12.3 mile route with water stops and restrooms along the way.

7:00 AM - Isle of Palms Saturday Morning Stress Reliever
Location: Isle of Palms, meet at the Harris Teeter*
Time: 7:00AM (November-June), 6:00AM (June-October)
Length: This run is designed to accommodate all levels from beginner to advanced. It will
typically range from 4 – 8 miles though some members may wish to run longer. Walkers and Runners of all levels.
