Charleston Running Club Meeting - April 12
The April CRC event will have a guest speaker. This speaker will be
Bridge Run board member and future chairman, Larry Schrecker. Larry is
also a past president of the CRC. This will be held at Bocci's Italian Restaurant on Thursday, April 12 at 6:00 pm. Bocci's is located at 158 Church Street in downtown Charleston.
Cooper River Bridge Run
Thanks to everyone who volunteered at the Bridge Run expo and at the
CRC tent in Marion Square! We hope that everyone enjoyed the race as well as the breakfast.
The winner of the Bridge Run prediction contest is Barbara Carter!
She had four correct predictions. She also wins "closest to the chip"
for guessing the closest time. Barbara predicted that Channing Pons
would run a 35:30 and his chip time was a 35:32
CRC Discount for CAPERS ECOrun
The CAPERS ECOrun is offering active CRC members a $5 discount to their
races. This is a series of 10K and 5K beach runs and walks benefiting
the Lowcountry hungry through Charleston Chef's Feed the Need. These
runs are held on the scenic Capers Island, which is an undeveloped
barrier island. This run will be held on

CRC Discount for the Race the Landing Series
The Race the Landing 5K series is offering active CRC members a 10% discount off race registration until May 3. The race site is the historic Charles Towne Landing. The kids run
begins each race day at 6:15 PM. 5K races begin at 7:00 pm. Each race is followed by a themed party including music, food
& beverages!. This run will be held on May 3, May 10, June 7, June 14, and June 19. Click here to inquire about the promotional code.

Did you know that
you can check your membership status and update your membership
information online? Well, you can! All you have to do is go to www.charlestonrunningclub.com
and click on the "Membership Sign Up" area. There is even a membership
directory and member's only information on the site once you log in as a
member.
